What we offer:
- The aim of the fellowship for Ukrainian residents in Oncology at the Medical University of Gdańsk is to provide advanced training and professional development opportunities in the field of oncology. This fellowship aims to enhance the residents’ clinical, research, and educational skills by exposing them to multidisciplinary treatments, technologies, and integration of clinical research in cancer care. It strives to empower participants with the knowledge and expertise to improve patient outcomes and address the growing need for skilled oncologists in Ukraine, especially amidst the challenges posed by the ongoing conflict.
- The program also focuses on fostering international collaboration, networking, and knowledge exchange, enabling Ukrainian residents to work alongside global experts in oncology. Through hands-on experience, experienced Oncologist’s mentorship, and participation in relevant clinical and research projects, fellows will gain a comprehensive understanding of modern oncology practices, contribute to advancing cancer treatment protocols, and build a solid foundation for leadership roles in the healthcare sector in Ukraine.
- Ultimately, the fellowship aims to strengthen the capacity of Ukrainian oncologists to provide high-quality care to cancer patients, support the integration of new scientific advances into practice, and contribute to the development of oncology services in their home country upon their return to Ukraine.
- The Fellowship covers the costs of transportation from Ukraine and back, the costs of stay in Student’s Dormitory of the Medical University of Gdańsk, cost of networking events, and the tuition of 12.000 PLN for 12 weeks.
